Discerning drivers will love the Tahoe’s smooth shifting 10-speed automatic transmission. Expect the four-wheel-drive L trim to tow up to 7,600 pounds. When equipped properly, the rear-wheel drive 5.3-liter V-8 Tahoe has a towing capacity of 8,400 pounds, which rivals some full-size pickup trucks.
