The Chevy lineup gives you a number of remarkable vehicles to choose from, including a stunning selection of powerful trucks and SUVs that are incredibly fun to drive. If you’re interested in a small SUV, then the Trailblazer should be at the top of your list thanks to its bold combination of beautiful style, impressive performance, and great features throughout. As your Chevy dealer near Burnsville, people come to us all the time interested in the Trailblazer. Whether you’ve already looked at the 2026 Trailblazer a bit to see what it can do, or this is your first time checking out this fantastic SUV, we’re ready to help. Let’s take a closer look at the four trim levels available for the Trailblazer and see if we can figure out which one is right for you.

The 2026 Chevy Trailblazer LS – Starting Features and Options

When looking at the Trailblazer and trying to figure out which one is right for you, there’s no better place to start than with the standard trim and features. The LS model gives you two engines to choose from: a 1.2L turbo with 137 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque or a 1.3L turbo that delivers 155 hp and 174 lb-ft of torque. You can see that the difference here isn’t massive, but it’s still worth keeping in mind, particularly if you’re looking for a sporty driving experience when getting around Burnsville each day. Both engines are paired with a continuously variable transmission; while front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard, all-wheel drive (AWD) is available if you prefer—this is true for every Trailblazer trim.

The Trailblazer LS has 17-inch wheels with all-season tires, black front and rear lower fascias, LED headlamps, and halogen tail lamps. You get power-adjustable side mirrors in black, a manual liftgate at the back, and body-color door handles. Speaking of which, you can choose from a number of different exterior colors for the LS trim, including Summit White, Mosaic Black Metallic, and Apex Red. The standard LS trim also comes with Chevy Safety Assist, which includes a Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Lane Keep Assist with a Lane Departure Warning.

Inside the LS trim, you’ll find a beautifully appointed interior featuring an 11-inch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a six-speaker sound system, and an eight-inch color Driver Information Center screen. Single-zone climate control is standard, along with cloth seating that includes a six-way driver’s seat and four-way front passenger seat. If you want to take things further, then available options for the LS include an LS Confidence Package with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Rear Park Assist, and a Side Blind Zone Alert or a Convenience Package that includes Remote Start functionality and deep-tinted rear privacy glass. Overall, this is a great place to start for the Trailblazer and a terrific choice if you like to keep things simple and fun.

The 2026 Chevy Trailblazer LT – Some Upgrades, More Options

If you’re interested in some upgrades for the Trailblazer and a lot more options to customize and enhance your ride, then the LT trim is a great one to look at. It has the same two engine options available along with standard FWD. We suggest getting the available AWD for dealing with rough winter weather in Burnsville and slushy streets. Overall, the LT has a lot of the same standard features as the LS but with some minor differences; for example, the LT has 17-inch wheels in High Gloss Black rather than the standard Silver of the LS. This model has Silver front and rear lower fascias for contrast, along with body-color mirror caps rather than standard black.

Inside, the LT has the same large displays and the six-speaker sound system for enhanced audio while you drive each day. Keyless Open with Remote Start functionality is standard with the LT, which makes it easier to get going on those mornings when you’d really like to just go back to bed. Some of the biggest differences are the extra options available for the LT, however, like 18-inch High Gloss Black wheels that you won’t find with the LS. Inside, the available Convenience Package adds automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a wireless charging pad.

This package for the LT also gives you an eight-way power driver’s seat, plus a power liftgate at the rear that makes loading and unloading the Trailblazer easier. One option we love for driving around the Twin Cities area is the LT Cold Weather Package, which adds heated front seats, a heated and wrapped steering wheel, and a Satin Silver and Chrome wrapped shift knob for an added touch of style. Plus, you can add a panoramic power sunroof to the LT, which isn’t available for the LS; these kinds of options make this a terrific choice if you’re looking to upgrade your drive without going up to one of the next two trims.

The 2026 Chevy Trailblazer RS – Sporty Appearance and Road Presence

Next up, we have the first of two options that are similar in many ways: both the RS and ACTIV models come with the 1.3L turbo engine, and they start at the same price point—you can still choose between FWD and AWD. Their differences largely come down to the kind of styling and overall experience you prefer with your vehicle. If you go with the RS, then you get stunning 19-inch High Gloss Black wheels, the largest offered for the Trailblazer. You can choose a two-tone exterior with a Mosaic Black Metallic or Apex Red roof paired with your choice of color.

Inside the Trailblazer RS, you’ll find comfortable Evotex seating that looks and feels amazing, plus it’s quite durable. You get heated front seats in the RS—again, perfect for winters in Burnsville—along with an eight-way power driver’s seat, a heated and wrapped steering wheel, and more. Available options for the RS let you take things even further, including a Convenience Package that gives you a wireless charging pad, hands-free power programmable rear liftgate, and more. There’s also an Adaptive Cruise and Sound Package that adds adaptive cruise control and a seven-speaker Bose Premium sound system to enhance your drive each day.

The 2026 Chevy Trailblazer ACTIV – Adventurous Looks and Features

Finally, the ACTIV model provides you with outdoorsy, off-road-inspired features that are perfect if you like to go camping or hit the trail on the weekend. There’s off-road suspension tuning that can handle rough terrain, along with functional skid plates designed to protect the underbody of your Trailblazer. The ACTIV has 17-inch High Gloss Black wheels wrapped in sport terrain tires for enhanced grip and traction on dirt and gravel roads. You can choose a two-tone exterior for the ACTIV featuring a Summit White roof paired with distinct colors like Marina Blue Metallic and Cacti Green. Chevy offers many of the same packages for this model as the RS, including the Convenience Package and the Adaptive Cruise and Sound option, ensuring you can put together an SUV that you’ll love driving each day.

Fantastic Vehicles for Burnsville Drivers

As you can see, each of these stunning models gives you excellent features and great additional options to let you get the perfect vehicle that has everything you’ve been looking for. The right one for you simply depends on what you want in your SUV, along with what your budget looks like, since that can impact the options that are best for you. If you want to keep things simple or stick to a lower price tag, then the LS is a great choice; for a number of great upgrades and more options to customize your SUV, go for the LT instead. And if you’re looking for the most advanced experience on offer with the Trailblazer, then both the RS and ACTIV are ready to deliver in two different ways. Once you know what you want in your next SUV, you can visit us at Lupient Chevrolet, and we’ll show you what you’ve been looking for.
